A Collaborative Between Community Building Initiative (CBI) and Greater Charlotte Healthcare Executives group (GCHEG)

Required attendance for all dates: May 16, 23, 30 and June 6

Event Location: Novant Health, 108 Providence Rd, Charlotte, NC 28207, Conference Room B

Event Details:  Health Equity Impact Circles are intended to:

-broaden the community of people who can utilize an equity lens in addressing community identity and issues;

-build relationships through shared learning about equity;

-deepen the commitment to CBI’s mission “to achieve inclusion and equity in our community” and build the will and skill to act in response.

An Equity Impact Circle is an intact group of 10-12 people who gather once a week over 4 consecutive weeks to develop/strengthen relationship and engage in deepening dialogue about equity and how it– or the lack of it — is manifested in the broader community.

Each time an Equity Impact Circle gathers, members will watch a video, read a short article or take in other content that has a particular equity focus. Each EIC is guided by moderators who will use this content as a jumping-off point to support the group in focused dialogue to exchange perspectives and ideas through an equity lens.
